Asha Gond, a teenager from the tribal village of Janwaar in Madhya Pradesh, has become India’s only female competitor at the World Skateboarding Championship. She discovered skateboarding through a community skatepark built to empower village kids. Asha later co-founded the Barefoot Skateboarders Organization and has become a symbol of confidence, education and change through skateboarding. She now inspires girls across India.

Last month, US President Donald Trump announced new tariffs on goods imported into the US, leading to concerns about a global trade war. Two huge boulders with hollow shapes, called cupules, have been found at Marli in Canacona, Goa. Cupules are an ancient art form. Featuring 21 and 45 cupules, these boulders will be examined by archaeologists to determine their exact purpose.
